Kid Stand-Up Comedians Tell Parents How to Really Make Kids Laugh
If you think a comedy club for kid , you ’ d probably imagine 11-year-olds stand-ups telling a band of fart jokes . This is not at all the event at the only comedy society for kid in New York City , Kids ’ N Comedy . Once a month , the comedians need the stage at the Gotham Comedy Club and redeem short sets full of hilarious—and family-friendly—jokes that somehow appeal to both child and parents . This exist such a rare feat that it seem like this intergenerational humor is only see on the bad screen a couple times a yr when Disney and DreamWorks publish their film for families .
But the teenage comedians at Kids ’ N Comedy have somehow crack the code . There are normally less than 10 comedians at one show . Parent and kids seat together around the same tables adults will sit at hr later on , watching some of New York City ’ s more R-rated comedians .

Many of the comedy clubs in New York City gain ’ t let you in , permit alone perform if you are under the age of 18 or 21 . Lender has seek to do stand-up at early clubs , but only a few own get her perform .
