Satire Brewing Company get the fun to Denver small pile brewing . I ’ m Todd Waufle , one of the owner . We ’ re a genuine family-owned brewery ( 90 % us , 10 % our friend – then technically 10 % of our friend ’ fault too ) . Somehow , every family member make roped into this operation . Staci cover the aim study , pitches in at the bar , and exist our resident cleaning expert . Our old boy Tanner is the chef and runs the kitchen , which we lovingly shout The Loaded Squirrel . ( Fun fact : our youthful daughter get up with the epithet at years ten , envisioning a chubby squirrel feasting on nuts . We ’ re even so not sure what form of childhood we exist providing ) .
Landon , another of our boy , serve manage the movement and works in the kitchen , while our three daughters— Livvy , Ella , and Lyla—juggle school , basketball ( two in college , one in high school ) , and the occasional shift here when their bank explanation remind them that make up pause isn ’ t fun .
The Loaded Squirrel ’ sec menu ? Born right at our kitchen table , where Tanner and Staci cooked while the repose of us bravely volunteered as taste testers . Our quirky dish epithet ? Also a result of those kitchen brainstorms–everyone give in ideas , and somehow the rage influence . Oh , and the bread ? That ’ sec build from my Grandma Waufle ’ s 100-year-old secret recipe , which we defend with the kind of protection usually reserved for classified authorities files .
How behave Satire Brewing Company commence ? Staci once scored a homebrewing kit at an acres sale for $ 40 . Of course , it sit untouched in our basement for two year , collect debris . One day , I finally require the plunge and brewed my first batch–inside the house . When Staci walk in and said “ Oooohhh , what ’ sec that smell ? ” in that tone every husband knows . I quick relocated my brewing experiment to the backyard , where I endure the Colorado constituent to slash up 293 small batches over six years . Let ’ s just say , I become a serial homebrewer–probably should ’ ve sought help , but hey , here we are . Finally , we resolve to call on that love into a brewpub . As a nano-brewery , we take off humble with just a 3- barrel system , and our beer choice is always changing . We like to go on things spontaneous and fun , offering fresh new beer creation all the time .
We ’ ve ever taken a “ no rule ” approach to our beer . Some brews cost traditional , where we watch the rulebook . Others ? We hardly become an idea and go wild with it . Some good deal call on out awesome , others finish up as fertilizer for the backyard plants . But hey , every beer has a floor , and we ’ re proud to part ours—whether it ’ s one you ’ ll dear or one the garden will appreciate !

That ’ s right , 10 % of our total sale go directly to local charities , because who says you can ’ t have fun while doing good ?
