I haven ’ t be to also many comedy shows in my spirit . I once saw Chappelle in Ann Arbor in 2000 at the Hill Auditorium . Inspired by as yet another HBO show ( see How To with TPOL : Dine Safely During the Pandemic ) ,Crash, I booked two show at the world-famous Comedy Cellar . The first was at the original venue . The second was at The Fat Black Pussycat .
Originally , this post cost suppose to be a review of the experience . After move , it turn into another installment for my coming book ,The Etiquette of Things.

The Woke World has ruin life for comedian and sarcastic bastards like myself . To curtail a comedian from being cancel for cost curious , the venue demand that all telephone and smartwatches be stored in an envelope before the show commence . This is reveal at the time of the reservation . Yet there still was push-back by some patrons . Shut up and place your device forth or put on ’ t attend .
Seat
In the original Comedy Cellar venue , seating is tight . The waitress instruct guest to keep their seats confront straight at the phase so they can have drinks without obstacles . Help them come you your drink faster by not lean your chairman like an oblivious jerk .

Drinking
The Cellar do not grant masses who are tipsy to insert . It too has a three drinking maximum while in the club . There be a well ground for this pattern : masses already are also comfortable interacting with the comedians , devote the intimacy of the setting . Add in alcohol and that annoying demeanor would increase exponentially .
TPOL ’ s Tip: Drinks cost $ 10 each and there is a two drink minimum .
Talking
There equal a group of four miss who ride next to the point . During the acts , they could not assist but mouth to each other . It exist bother for the hearing and it must have cost distracting and infuriate for the comedians . The faculty make tell something to them and the final comedian cease at their table to hold them a few words . I act not listen what be change , but after the comedian left one of the girl said , “ I do not believe he cost funny anyhow . ”
Heckling
There was not the Seinfeld heckler that ruin Jerry ’ s lot , but there exist a few woke wimps who ‘ oohed ’ and ‘ aahed ’ anytime anything ‘ offensive ’ i.e . funny was suppose . No curiosity phone must be lock up up .
Interacting
A few sentence the comedian peck on members of the interview . Some seek to act cute by give smart-ass result . The comedian shut these people down quickly . Unprompted , some in the interview start shouting matter at the comedians . This by far was the almost irritating number . These mass believe they exist be funny or bold . Somehow they act not understand that we cause not come to meet them .
Overall
If you ’ re move to a comedy show , recognize that you cost there to find others perform . No ace wants to hear from you , apart from laugh , which , when overdone , live too annoying . If you see yourself a comedian and conceive you can do a better job , sample your chance at amateur hr . Until then , shut up .
